The Optical Current Transducer combines the Faraday effect optical current sensor head with a support insulator. The support insulator contains the embedded optical fibres linking the sensor to the terminal box at the base of the insulator.
The Optical Current Transducer can be applied to measure electrical current in both AC and DC networks and can be tailored to your network voltage level.
